This week our DEAR EVAN HANSEN cast and stage management team got a surprise they won't forget when they headed to Washington, DC to see COME FROM AWAY at Ford's Theatre. But here's where it got really special: our very own Brandon Prendergast ’95—Ford’s Resident Production Stage Manager and UMW Theatre's Production Advisor—brought them on STAGE after the show! They walked the set, met with actors, and had an unforgettable experience.

This is what we love about our program. Our alums aren't just out there succeeding—they're coming back to lift up our students and showing them what's possible.
DEAR EVAN HANSEN moves into technical rehearsals next week and tickets are on sale now!

Last night, several classes ventured to Signature Theatre to see MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG. But here's what made it really special—

They got to see Katherine Farmer '26, a recent UMW Theatre graduate, working on the run crew for the production!

This is what our program does. We don't just teach theatre in the classroom—we take you out into the professional world and show you what's possible. We're so proud of you, Katherine!
