Develop management skills with real-world experience in a traditional liberal arts setting. Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/managementfellows/

The Management Fellows Program is for students interested in combining a rigorous liberal arts education with business, management and entrepreneurship. Management Fellows may major in any subject, but must complete courses in economics, accounting, ethics, and leadership as part of the academic requirements of the program. Students also interact and network with business leaders in a wide variety of industries through our lecture series. Management Fellows also complete a full-time, semester-long internship whichprovides an opportunity for our students to apply their knowledge and gain practical work experience. Students complete their internships in Fortune 500 companies, entrepreneurial businesses, government agencies, and not-for-profit organizations.

We had a special alum, Jeff Harmening ’89, General Mills, Chairman and CEO, teaching in the capstone course this week. Here is a quote from Leo Hamilton ’27, who attended the class, “Mr. Harmening’s lecture was incredibly insightful. He drew on the Battle of Gettysburg in an engaging manner, providing several contemplative leadership lessons. We are lucky to participate in such a familiar dialogue with an experienced leader such as him.”

As we approach fall break, we want to highlight two more amazing alumni who come back every semester to teach in the capstone course. David Trogden ’04 teaches the students how to manage up within an organization and Meggie Dials ’03 speaks with the class about emotional intelligence. A special thanks to both David and Meggie!!
