Catalyst Repertory is an Indianapolis-based, 501c3 nonprofit repertory, community theatre troupe. Catalyst focuses on producing new plays or new adaptations of classic plays. In 2015, they (as CRP [Casey Ross Productions]) opened the 'doors' to their first season, at Fountain Square's Grove Haus, with Ross's original script, The Ripple Effect, and enjoyed a sold out house, their first opening night. Since then, with their rebranding, they have remained a mainstay Indianapolis theatre institution for new, fringe, and edgier works not typically seen in the Midwest. Founder and Artistic Director, Casey Ross is known as a veteran Indianapolis playwright, through her time creating new works within the IndyFringe Festival. She first founded CRP in 2014, after a successful run at the 10th anniversary IndyFringe Festival. With the official addition of Creative Director and Musical Director, Dave Pelsue, and Creative Director and Managing Director, Taylor Cox - the Catalyst Repertory brand was born. Our company promises to produce exciting and challenging shows that act as a catalyst to important conversations.

What a night we had on Mass Ave!

Not only were we part of the smash-opening of FAST + FEARLESS (The IWC Short Plays Showcase), but we also had audience at Building Jerusalem in their turn of the century best (Cus remember, you get a FREE COCKTAIL if you dress up, it's Halloween season, join in the extra fun - we're lenient on period accuracy...for this.) We're back with BOTH of these great shows, tonight!

Building Jerusalem - 8 PM start time at the IF Theatre Blackbox, doors at 7 PM for games and cocktails.

FAST + FEARLESS - 7:30 PM start time at The District Theatre, doors at 7 PM.

Where will we see you, tonight?

The party is STILL on!

See the show that is delighting, disturbing and confusing audiences, all at the same time! Building Jerusalem is back on at 8 PM at the IF Theatre Blackbox. Doors open at 7 PM for Bingo, fortune telling, and mingling with Alice (no joke.).

"Big brains, competing agendas. All these superior pillars of society playing children’s games and confessing to bizarre urges like mouthing infants’ feet is a gleeful takedown of intellectual vanity...The cast is supurb...I can say this is a complex play that deserves more than one viewing. “Building Jerusalem” isn't about laying bricks so much as building a better world ... and watching a roomful of very clever people argue over the blueprints and ultimately facing their own imperfect ideas. With dance breaks." -Lisa Gauthier Mitchison, NUVO

"The cast bring out the full dimension of these historical figures, staying polite as possible as society conditioned them, yet each standing firm when their area of knowledge is challenged...As this is a difficult show to describe, please believe me that this is an excellent production, eerily perfect for October and perfect for 2026. Mystery, history, idealism, and ideas of “necessary” cruelty combine for a New Years Eve party you’ll never forget." -John Beldon, PWJW

This is the final weekend to catch something you will probablly not have the chance to see, again. At Catalyst, we are here to take on the rarieties and start conversations. The future is still coming, let's talk about it.

One weekend only!

Fast + Fearless features 7 shorts (6 10 min plays and our frame story) by emerging writers most of which have never seen their work staged. If that isn't warm fuzzy enough to support...we are also making a contribution to the Parkinsons Foundation.

Thank you to our *wonderful* cast Rachel Elizabeth and Orion Cortez for being the lovely narrators of the evening in Lilly of the Water by Carol Stamile.

There's a range of shows and lots of favorite actors faces in this, if you aren't at Building Jerusalem...be here. You have 3 shots each, you CAN DO EET!
