Good books and even better conversation!

Back in August, our Chi Chi Omega sisters came together for another Ivy Book Club gathering, this time diving into "Judge Stone" and let’s just say, everybody had an opinion!

The book sparked some great conversation about choices, relationships, consequences, justice and those moments when what’s legally right and what feels morally right aren’t always the same thing.

And that’s what makes Ivy Book Club so much fun! We may read the same book, but we don’t always see the story or the characters the same way. Different perspectives, a few laughs and some lively discussion made for a wonderful evening together.

Because sometimes sisterhood looks like a good book, a great conversation and time spent together. 📖💕💚

Our August Entrepreneur Spotlight goes to Cynthia Wilson, Owner of Kountry Kitchen!

For more than three decades, Kountry Kitchen has been a beloved part of Indianapolis, serving up delicious soul food, warm hospitality, and a true sense of community. As co-owner, Cynthia helps lead the daily operations of this nationally recognized restaurant while continuing a legacy that began in 1988.

Cynthia’s journey is also one of resilience and perseverance. After a devastating fire destroyed Kountry Kitchen in 2020, Cynthia and her husband, Isaac, remained committed to rebuilding and continuing the legacy. Today, Kountry Kitchen is once again serving the community from its beautiful home on College Avenue.

Congratulations, Cynthia! Thank you for your commitment to entrepreneurship, community, and preserving a treasured Indianapolis legacy. We are proud to spotlight you and wish you continued success!

A couple of weeks ago, we officially kicked off our 2026–2027 P.E.A.R.L.S. Club cohort! 💕💚

We are excited to welcome this amazing group of young ladies and look forward to an impactful year of mentorship, leadership development, financial literacy, education, character building, sisterhood, and so much more.

ΧΧΩ was proud to support The Antioch Fountain of Grace Church & General Missionary Baptist State Convention of Indiana’s Donation Drive for the families of Gary, Indiana! Sisters donated food, non-perishables, and hygiene essentials to the drop-off location in Indy. We also traveled to the drop-off site at 704 E. 32nd St. to help assist with the delivery in Gary. From voter education to community outreach, AKA women show up, because service to all mankind isn’t just our motto, it’s our mission. 💗💚

In the wake of the devastating flooding impacting families across Indianapolis and Central Indiana, the women of Chi Chi Omega Chapter answered the call to serve.

Our chapter donated much-needed items—including cleaning supplies, diapers, food, and other essentials—to the American Red Cross relief efforts located at North Central High School.

When our community is hurting, we believe in showing up with compassion, resources, and love. We are keeping every family impacted by these floods in our thoughts and prayers as recovery begins. This is what service looks like. This is sisterhood in action. 💗💚
