Your path to med school starts at Millsaps. 🩺

We were excited to welcome Dr. John Smith, dean of admissions at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine, to campus to meet with students and talk about Millsaps’ guaranteed admission pipeline to WCUCOM.

It’s a great partnership, giving qualified students a direct pathway to medical school and an exciting opportunity to start their journey toward becoming a physician right here at Millsaps.

Who says class has to mean sitting behind a desk? 🩺

Heidi Wiedenfeld’s Exercise & Chronic Disease class recently put their classroom learning into action, working with fellow students to conduct glucose testing and take height, weight and BMI measurements.

For Health & Exercise Science majors, learning goes well beyond the textbook. Students get opportunities to put what they’re learning into practice while building skills that prepare them for careers and graduate study in health, exercise and related fields.

This is what hands-on learning looks like at Millsaps! 🔬

A capital city changes what your college experience can be. Millsaps students land internships at the Mississippi Legislature, hospitals, courtrooms and businesses that most college towns simply can't offer — all while living on a 100-acre residential campus that still feels like a small, close-knit community.
