Today our EMT students were visited by a representative from Acadian ambulance. Thank you for coming to speak with our students and showing an interest in their development and career opportunities.

Congrats to our newest student of the week…Akiva Robinson. She is being recognized for excellent test scores over the past two tests.
She currently is a first responder at Newmans Ambulance and wants to get her EMT to respond to calls as a technician/clinician and assist those in need because she feels as though that’s her calling.
She is a loving wife and mother and and puts her family first. She is doing this to show her children you can achieve anything you want in life. She loves music,cooking, baking and reading. She also has four chickens.
Her ultimate goal is to become a paramedic and get her real estate license. Keep it up!

Had a great field trip to the University of Mobile again. Our EMT students did a great job in the simulation lab. Thank you to the university for allowing us to come and participate.

Congrats to our two new students of the week! They are being recognized for their outstanding test scores on the most recent two tests.
Laura Drake wants to become an EMT because it’s been her dream for as long as she can remember. She wants to make a personal impact in a persons time of need by showing comfort and compassion. She is a server at Waffle House while in school. She loves to spend time with her family and friends and pets. She thanks her parents for instilling confidence that she can do anything she sets her mind to.
Jamonica Creagh is wanting to become an EMT to be there for someone in one of their hardest moments. She also likes the idea of providing Emergency Medical care under pressure, the ability to truly care for someone when they are in need. She is excited about learning medical skills while coupling with professionalism. She wants to further her education by becoming an Advanced EMT. Keep it up, ladies.

Congrats to our two new students of the week. From day class we have Danielle Sharpe and night class we have Gwenavere Haddock. They are being recognized for their outstanding test grades on our most recent test. Danielle is currently the assistant manager at Office Depot and she wants to move into the medical field by becoming an EMT. She feels passionate towards helping others. She is a single mother to 4 girls and a GiGi to a boy and a girl. Her hobby is being part of the Mardi Gras association. Gwen wants to be an EMT so she can help give families more time with loved ones and comfort and care for the patients in her care. She has a hedgehog and loves to paint and crochet. Keep it up you two!

Congrats to our new students of the week. They are being recognized for their outstanding performance on the recent test. Congrats to Molly McPhearson from day class and Leonardo Venereo from night class. Molly works currently as a patient care technician in oncology and the icu departments. She wants to become an EMT to advance in her medical career. She loves the outdoors and camping and spending time with her geriatric, grumpy cat.
Leonardo wants to become an EMT to help those in need as well as join a brotherhood that appreciates sacrifice and hard work. He enjoys sunsets and the beach and plays the drums and performs karaoke. He also spends time with his dog, Hades. Good job you two!

Congrats to our newest two students of the week from our recent May EMT start. They are being recognized for outstanding test performance on the first two tests. From day class we have Lucas Landers. He wants to be an EMT to help people and pursue a career in EMS. He calls himself a nerdy because and likes to learn and in his free time he plays video games. From night class we have Drew Bumpers. He wants to work in a fast paced environment and in a field that is meaningful and fulfilling. He loves to spend time with his two dogs or relaxing at the beach. Good job to you both, keep it up!

Our EMT students had a field trip today to the University of Mobile for the simulation lab practice and cadaver lab experience. They had a great time and we always appreciate the University for hosting us! Here are the day and night students!
