Join us for Bryan Cantley’s lecture entitled “Exhausting Drawings” on Sept. 14th, at 4:00PM, in lecture hall AB100.

Exhibited works Sept 9-Oct 16, in CAP Gallery.

The lecture and accompanying exhibition present a "long game" project — a slow reading and development of a drawing typology, grounded in Georges Perec's An Attempt at Exhausting a Place in Paris. Framed as an ongoing project, the work becomes a language-development condition: an exercise in generating an infinite set of architectural languages from a finite condition.

CAP lectures are free and open to the public.

After 15 years of supporting CAP students, Lori Pence leaves behind a legacy of compassion, encouragement, and genuine kindness.

As Director of Student Services, Lori has been there for students through challenging times, helped them feel at ease, and celebrated their successes.

Her impact on our students and our college community is immeasurable, and she will be deeply missed. Thank you, Lori, for everything you have given to CAP and, most importantly, to our students. We wish you all the best in your next chapter!

Lori’s last day is August 28th, come by this week and wish Lori a happy retirement.

This summer Estopinal College of Architecture and Planning (ECAP) students are partnering with ecoREHAB of Muncie on a one-of-a-kind design-build project in Muncie’s Old West End.
Students are helping design and construct a high-performance, affordable home while gaining invaluable hands-on experience throughout the building process. As part of the project, they are fabricating the home’s exterior wall system using a panelized construction method and participating in key phases of construction to better understand how high-performance building systems come together in practice.

That’s a wrap on another incredible DesignWorks Summer Academy.

Over the past two weeks, our talented high school students have explored new ideas, tackled creative challenges, built friendships, and discovered what it means to think like designers.

From first sketches to final presentations, it’s been inspiring to watch their creativity, confidence, and curiosity grow each day.

Thank you to our amazing students, faculty, mentors, and everyone who helped make this summer unforgettable. We can’t wait to see where these future designers go next!
