Meet Karis Avisa, a class of 2022 musical theatre graduate! Karis is one of the many alumni who have helped shape the past 75 years of our Belmont University College of Music and Performing Arts and is a perfect example of the impressive paths our alumni follow after graduating. 🤗

"My mom was on the inaugural Belmont women's soccer team of '97, and 25 years later I followed in her footsteps (sans cleats) as a class of 2022 Musical Theatre major. Four years post-grad, I’ve worked all over the world as a performer and spend time in-between in New York City, where I share a home and community with my best friends who I met in the BFA program. Belmont University has woven its way through my story since before I was born, so I truly can’t imagine what my life would have looked like without it. Happy 75th anniversary, School of Music!" 💙🙌
