We are also incredibly proud to share that our spring 2026 RT 🩻, ST 🦠, and CVT 💞classes all had a 100% licensure pass rate; an outstanding achievement!

Happy Nurses Week to all of our incredible nursing faculty, leadership, and FUTURE NURSES!

In honor of our nursing team and students, we are excited to highlight one of the unique IPE simulation training opportunities our senior level nursing students participate in; an event designed to strengthen collaborative practice, critical thinking and enhance communication skills in patient care spaces.

This IPE simulation training is done in collaboration with the Riverside Residents and Riverside Regional simulation lab. During the simulated scenarios, our nursing students and residents have the opportunity to work side-by-side practicing structured communication, sharing perspectives and applying clinical judgement; working together to solve problems as an interprofessional team.

Always proud of our nursing students and faculty and their dedication to the profession!

The very first group of CNU nursing students are inbound fall 2026! ✨🩺

Captains, their families and institutional leadership gathered yesterday to celebrate the inaugural cohort of Christopher Newport University students accepted into the 3+2 partnership with Riverside College of Health Sciences. This first cohort marks the start of an incredible partnership between Riverside and CNU with a program rooted in academic strength, clinical excellence, and a shared commitment to caring for our local community.

Welcome Captains, we are so excited for you to join the Riverside family this fall!

Stress Less was a success! 🐶🍕✨

Riverside's therapy dogs, sound bath therapy sessions, fidget stations, lots of games and the best comfort food out there 🍕 all to help our students take a moment to breathe before finals next week! Good luck everyone, you got this!
