Proud of our OU Opera alums!

OU Voice Performance Alums Hannah (Tullius) Waldrep (BM-Voice 2019) and Robert Hartfield (BM-Voice 2019, MM-Voice Opera 2021) performed the Star-Spangled Banner in the Military Chorus with the legendary Patti LaBelle July 14th at the MLB All-Star Game!

Hannah studied at OU with Dr. Donna Cox and Dr. Joel Burcham. Robert studied at OU with Pr. Kim Josephson and Dr. Les Flanagan.

After OU, Hannah went on to complete an MM-Voice in 2021 at the University of Tennessee and served as an Apprentice Artist with Knoxville Opera. She now serves in the U.S. Army as a Staff Sergeant in the Army Chorus. Robert is a member of the prestigious Singing Sergeants with the U.S. Air Force, serving as a Technical Sergeant (TSgt).

We are so proud of our OU SoM alums, Boomer!
