🎃 Spooky season may be upon us, but our OU Opera students are hard at work with this season’s Christmas production:

🎄Die Fledermaus!🎄

This famous 1874 Viennese operetta by Johann Strauss II features a chaotic plot of mistaken identity, champagne-fueled partying, and revenge. Reimagined into 1940s Hollywood, this delightful farce follows Gabriel von Eisenstein’s attempts to seduce his own wife (disguised as a countess) while avoiding jail. With its lighthearted, waltz-filled score, this comedic opera is a festive start to the holiday season.

🗓️ Performance Dates:
- December 3-5
- December 6

📍Location:
- Reynolds Performing Arts Center

🎟️ Tickets on Sale Monday, November 16, 2026!
- Adult: $29
- OU staff / 65+ / Military: $24
- Student: $12
