OU Basketball Band Auditions are OPEN! If you know talented drum set or bass guitar players, please send them our way! Auditions are due by October 8 at 11:59 pm. Auditions are by video submission, and students can find all audition information and apply here: https://www.ou.edu/finearts/music/bands/sound-of-the-sooners

All members earn scholarship money for each game performed, and our top players have the opportunity to travel with the teams to the SEC and NCAA Tournaments!

The time commitment is very manageable: we meet to warm up and rehearse one hour before each game (~5 games per month from Nov. through Feb.). Students selected for the "Sound of the Sooners" should also enroll in the Basketball Band course for the Spring semester.

Come be part of the "Sound of the Sooners" and help us bring even more energy to OU Basketball!
