🌐 Congratulations to Dr. Desiree Hill, the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs at Ga***rd College, on stepping into global leadership as a co-leader for the Journalism Education Trauma Research Group!

The group includes an international network of educators, journalists, and scholars from over 250 locations, working to raise awareness and embed trauma literacy in journalism education globally. Dr. Hill will serve alongside co-leader Dr. Lada Price, overseeing initiatives including publications, grant applications, events, monthly meetings, and more.

💡 An integral part of Dr. Hill's role is supporting JETREG's regional research hub in Europe, North America/Canada, South Asia, MENA, Sub-Saharan Africa, South America, and Australia/Oceania.

🎥 Dean Miller recently toured the KOTV - News On 6 station, where she also had the opportunity to catch up with Ga***rd alumnus Jeromee Scott!

Jeromee serves as the station’s Assistant News Director and is a member of the Ga***rd Board of Visitors.

🏆 Congratulations to Ga***rd College alumnus Amanda Siew on winning her first Emmy! Amanda was recognized with the Heartland Emmy for her producing efforts at News 9. She earned further nominations in the categories Live News Producer and Special Event Coverage.
