Practice of Art major Madison Davis '26 discusses her exhibition, "is the cold more intimate?" Working through the mediums of metal sculpture, printmaking, glass, and rooted in the idea of cold connection, Davis's work pushes the thresholds of structural transparency, fragility, and control over material. Davis’s exhibition was on view in the Hagan Gallery from April 6-17, 2026.

Electrical and computer engineering major Trace Zhang '26, who also received minors in visual arts, computer science, and engineering physics, discusses their exhibition "Methods of Care." Working across analog photography, ceramic sculpture, and print transfer, Zhang explores narratives, bodies, and psychologies shaped within hostile systems, asking how do we cope, and how might we still learn to thrive? Their exhibition was on view in the Hagan Gallery from March 23-April 3, 2026.

Jill Dolan, Annan Professor of English, professor of theater, and former dean of the college, will retire from Princeton University at the end of the 2025-26 academic year, transferring to emeritus status.

“I’m so grateful for my 18 years on the Princeton faculty,” said Dolan. “I’ve worked with talented, thoughtful faculty colleagues, creative, ethical administrators, and caring, committed students, so many of whom have gone on to participate in the arts as artists or spectators. I’ll carry these foundational relationships and rich memories always in my heart.”

Professor Jill Dolan retires from the faculty of Princeton University at the end of the 2025-26 academic year.

Computer Science major Mary Ma '26, who is pursuing a minor in Visual Arts, discusses her exhibition "swallow." Her work explores the boundaries of the body, the labor of touch, and marks left on or by the body. The exhibition was open to the public from May 4-8, 2026, in Hagan Gallery.
