She's back!
Please join us in welcoming Katelyn Nichols back to serve as the next Assistant Coach.
Katelyn returns to River Falls after serving as the assistant coach for Iowa Lakes Community College and head coach for SoDak Juniors Volleyball Club.
"I am excited for Katelyn to be back with the Falcons. She is a young and energetic coach, 100% committed to the athletes and the team. She draws from great experiences as an athlete that can support, guide, and develop the next generation of Falcons. She's was also one of the top Middle Blockers I've coached, so having her volleyball IQ back in the gym is going to be very fun!" - Dipen Patel
Nichols began her collegiate playing career at Southwest Minnesota State University, a nationally ranked division 2 program, before transferring to join the Falcon Volleyball program for the 2023 season. Nichols was instrumental to the Falcons' success that year as the team compiled two nationally ranked wins in addition to 20+ wins, and a WIAC tournament quarter final win. She led both SMSU and UWβRiver Falls in blocks during full starting seasons.
