We have a chapter of Alpha Kappa Delta (AKD), the International Sociology Honors Society. All Applied Sociology majors and minors who meet the criteria below are eligible for membership. AKD has a lifetime membership fee of $50. You can find more information about AKD on their website https://alphakappadelta.org/ to an external site. Must be a junior (defined by Tarleton)
3.3 overall GPA
3.0 sociology GPA
Have completed at least four sociology courses

All Sociology majors and minors who meet the criteria are eligible for AKD membership!!
