WSU TAP had a wonderful visit with the team at Latinx Education Collaborative (LEC) in Kansas City!

A huge thank you to the LEC team for being so welcoming and sharing more about the amazing work they are doing to increase the representation of Latinx educators in K–12 classrooms!

It was exciting to learn more about their mission and explore how WSU TAP can help support their efforts. Everyone's journey to becoming a teacher looks a little different, and it's all about helping future educators find a pathway that works for them!

Looking forward to seeing where this connection takes us! 💛🌾

What a great night at the Kansas Teacher of the Year banquet! We got to celebrate two outstanding TAP students, Kevin Nicholls and Danielle Blue, who were honored as our WSU Teachers of Promise. Added bonus: TAP mentor teachers and instructors Sue Rippe and Deanna Deutscher were there celebrating as well. Great night all the way around! 💛🖤🌾

“Do I have to stop working while I complete the program?”

TAP™ was created with working school professionals in mind. Clinical experiences are integrated throughout the program so that TAP candidates can continue working in schools while completing their coursework.

Your exact requirements will depend on your pathway and where you are in the program—which is one reason our informational session is a great place to start.
