𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀

𝗪𝗦𝗨 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 for a July exhibition that embraces the strange, surreal, bizarre, and unexpected.

We invite 𝗪𝗦𝗨 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗿𝘁, 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 to submit works that distort realities, unusual creatures, odd behaviors, dreamlike narratives, or visions that challenge conventional understandings of the world around us.

𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲. Interpretations of the theme may be humorous, unsettling, fantastical, or provocative.

𝙐𝙣𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙩 will be on view at WSU ShiftSpace Gallery Friday, July 3 through Friday, July 31 with an opening reception on July 3, 6–8 p.m.

𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗻𝘀 will award a 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 at the opening reception, July 3.

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗻𝘀:
Johannah Cairns joins the Bethany College faculty beginning fall 2026. Cairns is a multidisciplinary artist. She holds a BA in Visual Art from the University of Kansas, a post-Baccalaureate Artisanry Ceramics Certificate from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and an MFA in Ceramics from Ohio University.

is always a delight! ADCI Professor of Ceramic Media, Ted Adler, kicks off summer at Reuben Saunders Gallery with a solo exhibition, "In the Flesh." Opening reception is Friday, June 5, 5 – 8 p.m.

Join us for First Friday, June 5th from 5:00pm – 8:00pm to celebrate the opening of a new solo exhibition by local artist Ted Adler, featuring a fresh collection of wood-fired ceramic works!

Adler’s newest pieces showcase the rich surfaces, textures, and organic beauty that emerge through the wood-firing process.

Eden Quispe: Narrative Threads | Naftzger Family Regional Creatives Exhibition Series

Now on view at Wichita Art Museum: ADCI alum Eden Quispe (BFA ‘08) in a solo exhibition, "Narrative Threads."

Drawing from her experiences growing up between Wichita and rural Kansas, Quispe creates richly layered textile works that explore motherhood, family, culture, and memory.

Incorporating vintage embroidery, family clothing, children's toys, and other meaningful materials, her quilted collages honor generations of women's creative labor while reflecting the joyful chaos of raising a family.

Investment in applied learning looks good everywhere--even on your bookshelf.

Graphic design seniors from Wichita State’s School of Art, Design and Creative Industries partnered with Dzanc Publishing to create original paperback covers for real-world publication projects—working directly with authors and publishers from concept to final design. Big shoutout to Assistant Professor Joshua Smith for guiding the collaboration and helping students gain hands-on experience in the publishing world.
