Goodwood Campus came alive with books, characters, nursery rhymes and plenty of laughter as we promoted the importance of literacy among our ECD students.

From dressing up as book characters to nursery rhyme battles, a photo booth and free books to take home, students had a fun-filled day celebrating the power of reading.

Because a good book can take you places.

Our staff engaged in an important conversation (INCOKO) about sexual harassment and Gender-based Violence and Femicide (GBVF), focusing on prevention and the role men can play in creating safer environments.

The discussion highlighted the impact of GBV and encouraged men to challenge harmful behaviour, treat women with dignity and speak up against abuse.
