UNILEVER MAYDON WHARF | CAREER GUIDANCE AND DEVELOPMENT DAY ๐๐ฌ
On 26 August, the Faculty of Applied Sciences joined Unilever Maydon Wharf for a Career Guidance and Development Day aimed at supporting permanent employees and resident contractors interested in furthering their academic and professional development.
DUT brought academic guidance directly to the workplace, giving employees an opportunity to explore undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by the Faculty, including admission requirements, application and enrolment processes, fee structures, part-time study options and the various pathways available to working professionals.
The Faculty was represented by Faculty Office staff and academic staff from the Department of Biotechnology, who engaged with employees and provided guidance on study opportunities, application processes and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) options.
The engagement also highlighted opportunities for employees who are considering postgraduate studies as part of their professional growth, research interests and continued academic development.
