We’d really love to see Lorenzo make this trip 🥹
He’s 21, he’s been putting in the hours in the pool, and he’s earned his place at the World Down Syndrome Swimming Championships in Portugal. Three qualifying A times and one B time. That’s no small thing!
Now his family is trying to raise enough money to get him there. Flights, accommodation, entry fees, and all the other costs add up, and sadly, qualifying doesn’t mean the trip is paid for.
We hope Lorenzo gets to stand on that starting block in Portugal, race against swimmers from around the world, make some new friends and come home with memories he’ll never forget. He’s worked hard for this opportunity, and it would be lovely to see him get to take it.
