The Bridge is a ‘hands on’, relational program to give you a real taste of global mission. You won’t just ‘observe’ you’ll ‘do’ …You’ll also get involved in urban mission, get some hands on experience with people who are homeless, oppressed, and disadvantaged. You’ll meet heaps of new people from different backgrounds and cultures as well as travel overseas in the middle of the year - all with th
e purpose of preparing you for whatever God has in store for you. You’ll dig deep into the Bible, learn how to prepare a Bible talk and give your testimony. On campus, you’ll study Old Testament, New Testament and Mission subjects for credit towards a Diploma of Theology, certificate or you can just listen in (audit) as well. We’re also throwing in some awesome practical stuff like barista training, driver survivor, first aid training, cooking for crowds, and even some basic budgeting! It will be a year to have adventure and fun, to explore life and to experience the opportunity to make a difference in the world. Most of all though, we want you to be individually growing in Christ-likeness and in your knowledge and love of God.
