๐ฃ IELTS Preparation & Subsidy Scheme for CEE UG Students
This scheme supports prospective IELTS test takers from CEE with targeted training to enhance readiness and financial incentives to recognise performance excellence.
โจ Benefits
1. Free coaching sessions by trainer Mr Michael Wong (CEE Teaching Fellow)
2. Test fee reimbursement based on IELTS overall band score achieved
๐ฅ Eligibility
1. Open to all current CEE undergraduate students (2026/27 academic year).
2. Participation in this scheme is voluntary. It is not tied to your university degree programme and will not affect your grades or graduation progress.
3. No prior IELTS experience or record is required.
4. Participants ๐๐๐๐ receive coaching from the CEE trainer.
5. Spaces are available on a โfirst come, first servedโ basis as long as funding lasts.
6. Subsidy only applies to the ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ test provided ๐ข๐ง ๐๐จ๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ .
Coaching Structure
1. Diagnostic test to determine your current level of English ability
2. Face-to-face coaching with personalised review in four areas: listening, reading, speaking, and writing
3. Mock tests to track progress
๐ฐ Subsidy Claim & Disbursement
1. Test takers shall first pay the test fee upfront and then apply for reimbursement from CEE by submitting their official test result sheet with a valid proof of payment to Mr Michael Wong ๐๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐.
2. Each student is entitled to subsidy only once during the entire period of undergraduate study.
๐ฐ Subsidy Tiers
โข Overall Band Score: Below 7.0 (0% of Test Fee Subsidised)
โข Overall Band Score: 7.0 โ 7.5 (50% of Test Fee Subsidised)
โข Overall Band Score: 8.0 & above (100% of Test Fee Subsidised)
