Congratulations to Dr Maggie McCabe who graduates today with her PhD entitled "Repatriation Claims on Cultural Material from former British Colonies in Museums in Britain and Ireland: Using Experiences to Effect Change."

This is a groundbreaking study that is based on the lived experiences of both claimant communities and museums in dealing with the repatriation of cultural material. While it focuses on British colonies, its findings have global significance and application for museums that wish to pursue indigenous-led repatriation practice.
