The Islamic Society in UCD was established in 1991, with the aim to serve and represent the growing Muslim student population on campus. It provides a platform for students to develop themselves and work towards bringing a positive change to our society. The Islamic society is dedicated to helping Muslims and Non-Muslims on campus develop academically, spiritually and socially. It is also aims to help clear any misconceptions about Islam by engaging in dialogue with Non-Muslim students on campus and developing unity and collaborating with other societies. The ISOC is a very diverse and dynamic society with a wide range of activities and events conducted throughout the year catering to all types of people. These range from charity events to exhibitions, talks, sports, classes, debates, outings and much more! We welcome anyone to join us!

In 1978, an American astrophysicist ranked the 100 most influential people in history. 🤔

No.1 might surprise you.

It was the Prophet pbuh.

So why him? Well that’s exactly what we’re going to figure out together.

Over 10 weekly workshops we’ll walk through the life of the Prophet pbuh: the first revelation, the trials of Makkah, building community in Madinah, and much more.

It’ll be interactive, discussion-based, and practical - not another lecture or seminar. There may also be snacks 👀

What you’ll gain:

🔍Depth over breadth - moving past storytelling into real understanding, reflection and application.

🌍A lens for today - tackling doubts, identity pressures, intellectual questions. Grounded in the evidence for prophethood.

Please note that there is no parking available outside the Musallah. Brothers who are able to attend the first prayer are kindly encouraged to do so.
