Submissions are officially open.
I’ve just shared a little tour of my own workspace, and now I want to see yours.
Not just jewellery benches either.
I’d love to see the places where people make, create, teach, experiment, grow things, solve problems and spend time doing what they care about.
That could be a jeweller, ceramicist, baker, printmaker, woodworker, florist, textile artist, Pilates teacher, horticulturist, blacksmith, illustrator, chef, tattoo artist, maker, teacher or something completely different.
I want to see the real spaces.
The beautifully organised ones.
The improvised ones.
The tiny spare-room setups.
The shared studios.
The sheds.
The classrooms.
The corners of kitchens.
And, hopefully, enough messy benches to prove I’m not the only one.
Show me your overall space, your main work area, a favourite tool, something you’re currently making, a strange little detail, or something in the room that tells us a bit about how you work.
There are also four questions I’d love you to answer on camera, all around making, creativity, workspace, isolation and community.
Send me around 2–3 minutes of vertical footage and I’ll edit the final piece together.
I think one of the nicest things about this could be simply getting a glimpse into places we would otherwise never see.
Who knows what we’ll notice.
Who knows what ideas we might steal from each other.
And who knows what conversations might start because of it.
