Really proud to be pictured with the B.Comm. (French) graduating class of 2026, the 29th of my teaching career at the University of Galway. Missing from the photo are the two students who joined us in 4th Year from the Shannon College of Hotel Management. It has been a privilege to share the journey of your undergraduate adventure with you, and see you blossom into the fine young adults you have become. Unlike AI and the Techbros, you are authentic and intelligent, resilient and resourceful, creative and curious. Your Erasmus experience and language skill-set will serve you and society well. I think of your parents, your first teachers, and the schools that brought you to us. I feel it's fitting to mention them here.
