Don't miss it, it's on tomorrow, Tuesday 6th Oct 🎉
📍Bailey Allen Hall
🕙11am - 2pm

Whether you’re hoping to meet potential employers, explore your options or simply find out more about a career in law, a little preparation can go a long way!

Our Employer Engagement Manager, Brid Connolly, shares 3 top tips to help you get prepared and make the most of the day.

💡 Tip 1. Prepare in advance.

Tailor your CV to the roles you’re interested in. Check out our CV Pathway for a step-by-step guide to create a stand-out CV!

Research the companies exhibiting at the fair. Check out the event page on Careers Connect for a full list of companies attending.

💡 Tip 2. Nail your Elevator Pitch.

Keep your introduction short but impactful. Mention what you are studying, your key strengths and what excites you about their company.

Spark their interest and leave them wanting more. Don’t linger too long at any one stand.

💡 Tip 3. Follow up.

Don't let those new connections fade away! After the fair, send a thank you email or LinkedIn message to your top 5 new contacts. Mention something specific about the chat you had with them and attach a tailored CV. This will help you stay on their radar and make a lasting impression!

Brid and the Career Development Centre staff will be there tomorrow, so feel free to say hello and ask us your questions.
