ISE would like to congratulate Prof. Charles Yousif who was promoted to Full Professor with an effective date of Oct 31 2025.
Prof. Yousif is a member of the academic staff of the Institute for Sustainable Energy for over 30 years. His research has spanned many areas of sustainable energy but more recently his main research focus has been Energy in Buildings and shallow geothermal energy.

A 2-year research position is available for candidates with an MSc in Science or Engineering, preferably with a background in Chemistry or Material Science. This role involves working on an exciting Sino-Malta collaboration focused on the development of silicon anodes for solid-state batteries.
