Join us tonight for our last public observing of the summer. We'll re-open in September. Remember if it is cloudy, we will be closed. Fingers crossed it stays clear. If it stays clear, we'll start at 10:00pm.

Welcome back to our alumni! Sadly tonight 6/11 there will be no public stargazing with the could and thread of thunderstorms.

Our summer observing returns tomorrow 6/4. Weather permitting of course, but it's looking ok right now. We will be open most Thursdays in June and July. The hours are 10:00pm to Midnight. We will be closed on 7/2 and 7/23 for the holiday, and our summer academic institute respectively.

The image below shows the inside of our filter wheel during some servicing. This is how astronomers take color photos with a monochrome camera. This gives us the highest resolution.
