We're proud to share this Virginia Cooperative Extension spotlight on Livvy Preisser ('11), whose A.A.S. in Agriculture Technology served as a foundation for a career dedicated to Virginia agriculture and communities.

After continuing her education, Livvy became an Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent where she connects producers, youth, and communities with the resources and opportunities they need to succeed.

From the classroom to the course. ⛳

Agricultural Technology students helped design and construct a new golf course green and tee box at Virginia Tech, working side-by-side with industry partners and campus professionals.

Sunday may have marked the official start of summer, but 42 Agricultural Technology students are already more than a month into their summer internships, and we can't wait to see all they accomplish!

Internships are a required part of the AT program, giving students the opportunity to apply what they've learned in class, try new things, and gain valuable industry experience. Whether they're working just down the road or across the country, each internship helps students build skills, confidence, and professional connections thanks to the internship hosts.

This summer, our students are completing internships in:
