The Center for Civic Engagement is involved with Alternative Break, the Bonner Leader program, one time service events, and ongoing service opportunities.

The Center for Civic Engagement is involved with Alternative Break, the Bonner Leader program, one time service events, and assists students in finding volunteer opportunities. The office also advises the student organization Volunteer Corps. We provide a variety of service projects, public awareness initiatives and educational opportunities, we create a space in which one's talents and interests can be used to better our community and the world. Applications for our 2027 Maymester Alternative Break experience are open! Spend three weeks in Greece with the sea turtles and take a deep dive into the cultural, environmental, and economic preservation of a small Greek island. Link is in our bio, our website and HUB page! Due 11/5!

R**e culture doesn’t begin and end with sexual assault. It grows when we excuse harmful behavior, dismiss survivors, blame victims, or treat violence as a joke. Our next Pop-Up Service supports area children recovering from trauma. Stop by Cougar Mall for a minute, 5 minutes or as long as you’d like as we create thoughtful care packages for them with reps from the Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center.
