You can select from subjects in philosophy, literature, film studies, and theater for group discussions, mini-lectures, and hand-on activities.

Lunch will be provided, and books by USC humanities faculty will be available for purchase. This free half-day event will take place on Saturday, May 2 from 8:30-1pm in the Close-Hipp Building, 8th floor.

Help support individuals experiencing homelessness through service projects, meal sharing, and community engagement.

WHO: City of Columbia Homeless Services

WHAT: The City of Columbia Homeless Services Department invites the community to participate in “30 Days of Volunteering” throughout the month of April.

Volunteers will have opportunities to support individuals experiencing homelessness through service projects, meal preparation and service, and community engagement activities. Participants can assist with organizing, cleaning, and beautifying shelter spaces, as well as connecting with residents through meaningful interactions and support.
