This semester, UCA is continuing its program to assist students facing extreme hardship or financial crisis with the purchase of their course textbooks.
We anticipate that Financial Aid and Student Accounts will refer many students, but we are asking for your help in spreading the word to the UCA student population.
To apply, students should visit uca.edu/go/TextbookGrant and complete the online application. There will be an application period from August 17 - 28, 2026, or until funds are exhausted, whichever comes first.
Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to apply:
• Be a full- or part-time student seeking a degree
• Be enrolled at UCA during the semester in which the grant would be received
• Be in good standing with Student Accounts
• Have an approved payment plan with Student Accounts for a balance greater than $200
• Have completed the FAFSA application, if they are a UCA Citizen, Permanent Resident or Eligible Non-Citizen
• Have exhausted all types of available financial aid, including student loans
• Have not previously received an Emergency Textbook Grant
• Must be in compliance with the university’s Scholarship Policies
Available funds are limited, and applications will be reviewed in the order they are received. Award decisions, including what constitutes exceptional need, will be determined by a committee representing the Offices of Student Advocacy & Community, Financial Aid, and Student Accounts.

UCA is dedicated to helping you continue your education no matter your challenges. Emergency Textbook Grants help undergraduate and graduate students facing a financial crisis to purchase textbooks for their UCA courses.
