is expanding its research ecosystem through a subaward of more than $835,000 from the South Carolina Research Authority, part of a $10 million National Science Foundation initiative. The funding will create and expand opportunities for students to engage in faculty-mentored research through programs such as Summer Undergraduate Research Fellows (SURF), Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP), and Rising Fellows. It will also help strengthen pathways from high school to college and from college to careers and graduate programs.
