The Master of Education (M.Ed.) The Educational Specialist (Ed.S.)

in Instructional Technology is a 30 credit 100 percent online program that provides teachers and other professionals advanced training in the utilization and integration of technology to improve teaching practice, learner performance and professional productivity in schools, businesses, government, healthcare, military and other industries. Teaching certification is not required for admission. in Instructional Technology is a 30 credit 100 percent online program designed for teachers and other professionals who have already earned a master's degree (in any discipline) and are interested in extending their abilities to design, develop, implement, evaluate and manage technology to improve teaching and learning in schools, businesses, government, healthcare, military and other industries. Candidates who complete this curriculum will be well prepared for future graduate study at the doctoral level. The Certificate in Online Teaching and Training is a 12 credit 100 percent online graduate program that provides opportunities for educators and trainers to develop advanced competencies in designing, developing, delivering and managing online learning and performance improvement in education, business, government, healthcare, military and other professions. Undergraduate

The Certificate in Instructional Technology is a 9 credit 100 percent online or hybrid undergraduate certificate program that provides students with opportunities to develop essential skills that leverage technology to improve learning in educational settings. This non-licensure certificate from the college fulfills some undergraduate Core Curriculum and pre-professional education program requirements.

We are proud to announce 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐞 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐰, professor of Instructional Technology, as the recipient of the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐇𝐓𝐂 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫-𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐋𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 at 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲! 🏫🎉

Since joining CCU in 1997, Dr. Winslow has inspired thousands of students, expanding computer science access through a Google grant and boosting local math scores with his multiyear robotics research. Spadoni College Dean Jamia Richmond praised him as "a scholar of remarkable productivity, a transformative instructor, and a visionary communicator."

Now, he is taking on the next big frontier: artificial intelligence. Don't miss his lecture on how AI instructors and smart technology are shifting the landscape of modern education.

We love catching up with our Instructional Technology alumni! Kelley (Class of 2018, Education Specialist in Instructional Technology) served as the Digital Arts teacher at River Oaks Elementary from 2020 to 2025.

Now, she is stepping into an exciting new chapter as a founding faculty member at Ten Oaks Elementary School, where she is teaching 4th grade! 🍎✨

Her graduate degree in Instructional Technology from Coastal Carolina University helps her integrate innovative strategies and tech into her classroom to support multilingual and diverse learners. 🎓 Alumni Spotlight: Kyle Woodle 🎓

We love seeing where our Instructional Technology alumni land!

After graduating with her Master of Education in Instructional Technology in December 2022, Kyle secured a position teaching online Physical Education at the Cyber Academy of South Carolina, a virtual public charter school.

Using the professional portfolio and instructional design skills developed during her master's program, Kyle confidently creates engaging virtual learning environments for her students every day. Beyond the virtual classroom, she also leverages her tech skills as a travel agent to craft custom content and resources for her clients!
