🎉 Welcome to the Shenandoah Valley Child Development Clinic team! 🎉

We’re delighted to welcome three new members to our team this year! Please join us in welcoming:

🩺 Annie Wilcoxen, RN – our new nurse! Annie has been a registered nurse for 17 years, including nearly 15 years as a pediatric nurse. Her experience spans three children’s hospitals and three schools in both the U.S. and Australia. We’re so excited to have her expertise and experience on our team!

🧠 Dr. Josh Inyangson – our new post-doctoral fellow! Josh recently earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, with a focus on child and family intervention. He also recently completed his doctoral internship at Momentous Institute in Dallas, Texas. We’re excited to see him bring his experiences and passion for working with children and families to the clinic!

📚 Danielle Zebosky – our graduate assistant! Danielle graduated from JMU in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is currently a second-year graduate student in JMU’s School Psychology program. She earned her master’s degree this past summer and is now working toward her Ed.S. degree.

We are so grateful to have Annie, Josh, and Danielle on our team and look forward to all they’ll bring to the Shenandoah Valley Child Development Clinic!

Welcome Our New Team Member! 🧠

Please join us in welcoming Sara Brock to the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) team! Sara currently serves as our Clinic Administrative Assistant and plays an important role in supporting both our clients and staff.

Sara is a graduate of James Madison University's Psychology Department, where she developed a passion for mental health advocacy and helping others access the support they need. With significant experience in customer service, she brings excellent communication skills, compassion, and a client-centered approach to her work.

Sara strongly believes in our clinic's mission of making mental health care accessible to everyone and is dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive experience for all who seek our services. We are excited to have her as part of our CAPS team and look forward to the positive impact she will make in our community.

On September 9, all of the programs under the IIHHS umbrella kicked off the year by gathering together at Montpelier Room for its opening Summit. Faculty, staff, and guests celebrated achievements from the previous year, and looked forward to what’s ahead in 2026-27 under the theme, “Innovation in Action” . Pictures show just a glimpse of the laughter, joy, and dedication that everyone has at the Institute! Many thanks to the planning team for making this Summit a great success!
