✨My Cool Career
Join the CPDC 2-3 times a semester for these events where students can network and learn about cool career paths from select IUP alumni and friends. Presenters will share their career journey, answer questions, and engage attendees in discussion. Students can attend an in-person watch party at North Dining Hall where free meal vouchers* will be provided. Please note: to receive the complimentary voucher, students must arrive by 11:20am and stay for the duration of the event.

Join the IUP Career and Professional Development Center (CPDC) for Back to Basics: Resume and Cover Letter Writing… and More! — a practical session designed to help you craft strong, professional application materials that stand out. Learn how to effectively highlight your skills and experiences, tailor your documents for specific opportunities, and avoid common mistakes. Whether you're creating your first resume or refining your cover letter, this workshop will equip you with the tools to confidently showcase your potential to employers.
✨Etiquette Dinner
The Etiquette Dinner is an evening of learning how to conduct yourself with proper dining and business etiquette for professional situations over a multi-course meal. Participants will receive instruction on a variety of common etiquette topics, and they will also have time to talk with fellow dinner guests (including professionals present for the event), practice their conversation skills, and ask questions related to etiquette. *Registration by 5 October required via IUP CPDC.
