The interview details research and experiments (funded by an Obermann Interdisciplinary Research Grant) on the genetic components of intellectual disability carried out by Manak and his co-investigator Professor Benjamin Darbro (Stead Family Department of Pediatrics) this summer.

Our first seminar of the semester will be led by Tavis Anderson, PhD, a Research Biologist with the National Animal Disease Center, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)-Agricultural Research Service (ARS), in Ames, Iowa. The seminar will begin at 3:30pm on Friday, August 28th, in Kollros Auditorium (Biology Building East, Room 101). A reception with refreshments will be held in the BBE Lobby following the seminar.
