We were honored to host Dennis McCarthy on campus during the recent Cormac McCarthy Society Conference in Knoxville, including a tour of Hodges Library and the Library Storage Annex. Thank you for sharing stories, memories, and a personal connection to one of the most celebrated literary figures associated with East Tennessee.

The conference also featured UT Libraries faculty members Jennie Mezick, Joshua Ortiz Baco, and Joy Panigabutra-Roberts, who participated in a panel focused on Cormac McCarthy's Library.

We are grateful to Dennis McCarthy, Chase McCarthy, and John Francis McCarthy for establishing an endowment in support of the library. To learn more, contact [email protected].
