The UT Knoxville alumni family has more than 250,000 members living in all 50 states and in more than 100 countries.

The Office of Alumni Relations is dedicated to promoting and advancing the University of Tennessee and all of its stellar programs. As the state’s flagship university we attract the best and brightest students. While they are here they learn so much more than what a classroom experience can provide. Those experiences in and out of the classroom help to connect each and every graduate of UT.

UT nursing PhD candidate Stephanie Fancher is researching ways to improve access to preventive care for children across Tennessee. Her passion for this work comes from years as a pediatric nurse, where she saw firsthand how difficult it could be for children to get the care they needed.

After a cancer diagnosis and treatment, Stephanie returned to her doctoral studies where donor support allowed her to continue her research to improve health care for children across Tennessee.
