In August and September, UNAAC recognized two stellar students with the UNAAC Clinical Excellence Award! This recognition is given to nursing students who demonstrate exceptional performance during their clinical rotations. These students are showcased on our UNAAC Garden of Success board on the 3rd floor in the College of Nursing. Congratulations to Christi Tutherow and Madison McMillion, class of May 2027! 💙

Several groups of public health nursing students recently engaged in community clinical activities on the weekend of 9/19–9/20! Dr. Cheryl Witt’s students attended a Raising Hope event in Scott County while Professor Heather Broaddus and two of her students attended a Surgery on Sunday event.

We will never forget all the lives tragically taken from us 25 years ago today.

We honor all the nurses, first responders, fellow citizens and other medical professionals who gave their lives for others on one of the darkest days in our country’s history. They chose to put others first without a second thought in the face of tragedy.
