National Mascot Day is one more opportunity to celebrate Captain Alden Partridge!

Alden is still seen roaming The Hill, interacting with students, and of course, soaking up some great Norwich University Cadets athletics.

Walking towards the future, honoring the past!

Every step you take along the Centennial Stairs is a tribute to 40 individuals who helped shape our first 100 years.

In honor of Norwich’s Bicentennial in 2019, a second stairway was build to memorialize 78 individuals who made significant contributions to the development and legacy of the University in its second century.

They serve as a tribute and daily reminder of those who personify Capt. Partridge’s ideals and exemplify Norwich’s mission “to make moral, patriotic, effective and useful citizens.”

What legacy will you leave?

The U.S. Army, a year older than the nation it defends, celebrates 251 years of service and their ideals of freedom, honor, and sacrifice.

Since its official establishment on June 14, 1775, the U.S. Army has played a vital role in the growth and development of the American nation

Countless Norwich University men and women have served in the U.S. Army throughout every conflict in this nation's history. Today we honor them for their dedication and sacrifice.

Celebrating the stars and stripes!

On this day in 1777, our national flag was decided by the Continental Congress.

Did you know that President Woodrow Wilson formally recognized this day as Flag Day in 1916? And in 1949, President Harry S. Truman made it a formal observance.
