‼️ Returning leftovers to the refrigerator within two hours can decrease your chances of getting food poisoning.

Bacteria thrives in the temperature danger zone (40ºF - 140ºF) so don’t let your food sit there!🦠

Share this post with someone who leaves their pizza leftovers out overnight! 👀

🗣️ Don’t just take our word for it, hear from EFNEP community partners themselves!

School Teacher Testimonial about EFNEP: "This program has been instrumental in creating a 'team' atmosphere. There's nothing like working together to create great recipes. It has also allowed a few of my students to open up at school and be more interactive. One student has enjoyed this class so much that they are now pursuing cooking as a career after high school."

🚨Check out what the EFNEP team has been up to!

Last month, EFNEP collaborated with UMaine student organizations, CNTSP and SWell, to host a fun Healthy Snack Bar event in the Memorial Union Wade Center. Students stopped by to make their very own quick and easy oatmeal packets in just a few simple steps!

1️⃣ Grab a baggie
2️⃣ Add a ½ cup of oats
3️⃣ Add additional toppings (raisins, cinnamon, brown sugar)
