Kudos to Katie Grillo's fourth-grade class at Dighton Elementary School, where our own Katelyn Lima is Principal.

A group of creative fourth graders turned arts and crafts into something truly meaningful. Big hearts and even bigger ideas, they are raising money to ensure every student has access to after-school programs and field trips. Their kindness, teamwork, and dedication are making a real difference in their school community.

Earlier this week, our first year MAT culinary students presented a curriculum proposal to the CFIT Dean, Associate Dean, and faculty as part of their final project for their course, EDUC 5180 - Curriculum Development in Culinary Arts Programs. The students researched the current curriculum, spoke with faculty members, and proposed four units to incorporate into CFIT’s curriculum in the future for incoming freshman to enhance the freshman experience. It will be exciting to see if any of these curriculum ideas are incorporated in the future!
