Radford University CARES (Community, Access, Resources, Education, and Service) Mobile Health Clinic integrates faculty expertise, student learning and community partnerships to address local needs. This is accomplished by expanding access to healthcare and mental health resources while allowing students to engage in meaningful, hands-on experiences.

Dean Cox welcomed back faculty and staff yesterday at the annual "All College" meeting. Provost Usher, provided updates along with Dean Cox and Dr. Ashley Wells was introduced as the new Assistant VP for Health Sciences. Congratulations to our faculty and staff award winners. The Emergency Services Program offers American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) courses for students, faculty, staff, and members of the community!

Learn how to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate breaths and ventilations, and provide early use of an AED. ๐Ÿš‘ Additionally, the course trains participants on Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and fulfills the requirements for clinical course participation at Radford University Main Campus and Radford University Carilion (RUC).

๐Ÿ“… Upcoming dates: August 24 and 26, September 9, October 7, November 11, December 9. Additional 2027 dates available.
