Have a big kid who would like to come and experience the wonderful world of Play Lab with the Department of Occupational Therapy at Radford? We often have babies and toddlers on campus but also have opened up a play lab to highlight all the fun that school age children can be!

We appreciate your family attending if possible to help our Development course students learn more about working with families and milestones through play! This event is free and fosters developmental skills through play and social engagement.

The best teaching and learning days happen with our community partners! Last week, the Taubman Museum served as our Perspective-Taking Lab: What can art teach us about storytelling, blind spots, and listening? In the midst of our busy and complex healthcare encounters, we want to learn about our clients' stories - perhaps the most powerful tool we have is the lessons we learn through reflective and artful observation! A special thank you to Cindy Petersen and her staff for guiding us through the reflective exercises and your learning exhibitions & activities!

The Department of Occupational Therapy had a great time representing Radford University at the Virginia Occupational Therapy Association Conference! It was wonderful connecting with prospective students, networking with occupational therapy professionals, and reconnecting with many of our outstanding alumni.
