Congratulations to our Jazz Combo/Jazz Ensemble members on being invited to perform!

Students from our jazz department have been busy!

On Thursday, April 9, several members of the University of Alabama Jazz Ensemble & Jazz Combo performed for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor at the Albritton Lecture series for the University of Alabama School of Law. Other prestigious members of the audience included University of Alabama Chancellor Sid J. Trant, President Mohler, the Provost, and seven University of Alabama Deans.

The performers included Chris Wilson (Trumpet), Reggie Robinson (Keys), Carlos Lee (Bass), and Trey Lomax (Drums).

Thank you and Roll Tide to these incredible students for representing the very best of what our school has to offer to such distinguished guests! We are so proud of your hard work and dedication to your craft!

Don't miss the "The Swingin' Sounds of the Jazz Big Band" with the University of Alabama Jazz Ensemble next Thursday night, February 19, at 7:30 p.m. in Moody Concert Hall!
