Exciting opportunity!!!

The West Tennessee Regional Forensic Center (WTRFC) in Memphis, TN is currently accepting applications for a forensic anthropology internship.

The internship provides hands-on experience in skeletal recovery, identification, trauma analysis, and forensic anthropology case consultations within a medical examiner setting. Interns may also have the opportunity to conduct research or complete an independent project.

May 20, 2026 — Dr. Moriah Beck, Talaty Endowed Research Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Wichita State University, has been elected a 2025 Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, one of the world’s largest and most prestigious scientific societies.

Perla Cáceres (image displayed on post) is a graduate student majoring in Spanish and she talks about one belief she has learned to question more deeply as a Liberal Arts and Sciences student.

She shares, “I’ve learned to pause, ask questions, and consider alternative viewpoints instead of immediately relying on my own assumptions. This has taught me the value of listening, being adaptable, and approaching situations with curiosity rather than judgment.”
