The Shocker Men qualified for nationals after finishing 2nd through 64 baker games this weekend! They will be heading to Vegas in a few weeks to Intercollegiate Team Championship Nationals to hunt down another Helmer Cup!

As Intercollegiate Team Championship Sectionals is underway we would like to congratulate our Men who made Intercollegiate Singles Championship Nationals yesterday!

After the 6 games of qualifying the top 6 bowlers advanced to nationals with Braden Mallasch in first, Brandon Bonta in third and Spencer Robarge in fourth! Josh Hammons tied for sixth but lost in a roll off for the spot to nationals. Overall, a great start for the shockers at sectionals!

Congrats to Brandon Bonta for making the All Tournament Team at the Hoosier Classic! The team was in 3rd after qualifying and fell to Newman in the first round of match play. That's a wrap for the regular season- Sectionals in a few weeks 👏👏👏

The Wichita State Men's Varsity led qualifying by over 300 and then took home the win at McKendree Baker this weekend!

There was a lot of great bowling this weekend and especially great in matchplay sweeping all three of the matches!

We're heading to Fairview Heights, IL, this weekend for the McKendree Baker Challenge! 🎳💛🖤 On Saturday, we'll bowl 24 Baker games. On Sunday, we'll bowl 16 Baker games, then they'll cut to the top 8 teams for a best-of-three bracket! Let's go, Shockers! 👏👏👏

The Wichita State Shocker Men’s Bowling Team is thrilled to announce the commitment of Ben Pettit to the program in the Fall of 2026!

Ben is currently the #1 ranked men’s bowler in New Zealand, and is a member of their National Team, representing his country at various international events worldwide over the past few years, including winning the Bronze Medal in Singles at the 2024 World Youth Championships.

We are extremely excited to welcome Ben to Shocker Nation in 2026!

The SWIBC weekend ended with Varsity in 2nd after both events. For individual awards on Saturday Jacob White finished 5th and Broox Golden got 2nd! On Sunday, Zach Leschikar finished 2nd and Spencer Robarge got MVP!

What an amazing Team USA Trials for our Shocker Men’s Team athletes! 🇺🇸

Freshman Trae Henrichsmeyer, sophomores Braden Mallasch and Josh Hammons, and junior Carter Street all repeat as members of Junior Team USA in 2025 after being on last year’s Junior Team! Also joining them on the 2025 team is freshman Anthony Hornick!

Recent Shocker graduate Ryan Barnes led the Team Trials competition for the men to earn his first appearance on Team USA! Ryan was a member of Junior Team USA in 2024. He joins Shocker alums Kris Prather (5th year), P***y Hanrahan (2nd year), and Jake Peters (3rd year) on the 2025 team.

The Shocker Men led qualifying again in Vegas at the Collegiate Shootout! For individual awards, Spencer Robarge placed 2nd for the All Tournament Team!

After qualifying, they lost in the semifinals! Overall, another great tournament for the shockers!

Our stay in Vegas continues today and tomorrow with the Collegiate Shoot Out! 🎳🖤

In this Tier I event, teams bowl five traditional games on day one. On day two, teams bowl 16 Baker games. The field is then cut to the top eight men's teams for an eliminator style finals.

Let's start Winter Break out right with a VICTORY! Go Shocks!
