From Maths Literacy to a Career in Architecture!

Did you take Maths Literacy at school, but now want to pursue a career in architectural draughting and design?

Your subject choice does not have to end your architectural ambitions.

CAD4ALL Institute of Applied Architecture offers a Mathematics Bridging Course designed to strengthen the mathematical foundation of learners who have Maths Literacy and need to meet the Mathematics entry requirement for the Higher Occupational Certificate: Architectural Draughtsperson – NQF Level 5.

The bridging programme focuses on mathematical skills relevant to architectural studies, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, measurements, calculations and practical problem-solving, with examples linked to drawings, buildings and design.

Are you an experienced professional working in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry and ready to take the next step in your career?

CAD4ALL Institute of Applied Architecture is introducing the Specialised Occupational Diploma: Professional Construction Project Manager for the 2027 academic year.

NQF Level 8 | 180 Credits | SAQA ID 122700

This advanced qualification is designed to develop the knowledge and applied competencies required to manage construction projects across their lifecycle—from planning and coordination through implementation, control and project completion.

ENTRY PATHWAYS:

Applicants with an appropriate NQF Level 7 qualification in Construction and/or Building Sciences may apply through the standard admission route.

Experienced AEC professionals who hold a relevant NQF Level 6 qualification may apply to be considered through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), where their qualifications, industry experience, workplace learning and competencies are formally assessed. RPL admission is subject to successful assessment and is not automatic.

Develop advanced construction project-management knowledge, strengthen your ability to coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, improve your understanding of project planning, cost, quality, risk and delivery, and build competencies relevant to greater project-management responsibility within the built environment.
